In this role, you will help develop and deploy production-ready machine learning systems, working closely with engineers and domain experts to build solutions that directly impact customers and end users.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working across the full machine learning lifecycle, and seeing their work deployed in real-world environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, train, and deploy machine learning and computer vision models for production applicationsDevelop solutions involving object detection, image classification, tracking, anomaly detection, and related technologiesConduct experimentation and prototyping to improve model performance and accuracyOptimize models for scalability, reliability, and real-time inferenceBuild and maintain software pipelines that support model training, evaluation, and deploymentCollaborate with software engineers, product teams, and customers to solve complex technical challengesTroubleshoot, debug, and improve machine learning systems in production environmentsStay current on emerging machine learning and computer vision technologiesQualifications5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, computer vision, or related fieldsStrong programming skills in PythonExperience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, YOLO, scikit-learn, or similar technologiesExperience working with computer vision techniques including object detection, segmentation, classification, tracking, or image processingUnderstanding of supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning methodsStrong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skillsExperience using Git and modern software development practicesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or PhD in a related fieldExperience deploying machine learning models into production environmentsExperience with edge computing or real-time systemsFamiliarity with anomaly detection, autoencoders, or traditional computer vision techniquesExperience working with industrial, robotics, automation, or operational technology environmentsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and equity packageOpportunity to work on challenging, real-world machine learning problemsHigh-impact role with significant ownership and visibilityCollaborative and mission-driven engineering cultureHybrid work environment based in Cambridge, MAOpportunity to help shape the future direction of a rapidly growing company
